What is B2B mentoring for youth “I’m my own boss”?
Mentoring program “I’m my own boss,” is an interactive program of work with young people to strengthen their entrepreneurial competencies. The program includes 30 interactive workshops, lectures and consulting sessions on entrepreneurship and EU funds.

Mentoring is a special relation between two persons – mentors and mentija. Mentor is the most professional and experienced person who has knowledge and skills that mushy, less experienced person, need, and still there is no, and the mentor wants to share it. Mentoring includes the exchange of knowledge, experiences and contacts between mentor and mentija, through which the mentor encourages mentija on professional and personal development.

The learning process is a two-way street and advance a clearly defined in a specific period of time whereby the mushy expanding your circle of business contacts, receives support and encouragement for further entry into the enterprise and constructive feedback on your business venture, while mentor gets personal satisfaction of sharing knowledge and insight into the attitudes and values of the younger generation.

How long is the mentoring program?
The program begins with 15. January 2016. and lasts up to 20. in may 2016, and will take place according to the following content and schedule:

On Friday, 15. January 2016, from 17:00 to 20:00 hours – the first workshop for exploring and defining clear objectives and expectations, rules of operation, an assessment of the present state and setting goals and defining how we’re going to get to them.

Of the 15. January 2016. connect Facebook group works continued support and mutual networking, individual meetings and workshops once a month and meetings and tips via Skype for mentije who are not from Zagreb. Mentorice will be continuously available by email. During January, February, March and April, there will be a total of 20 sessions.

During April and may 2016. on the agenda are workshops on EU funds and projects, funding opportunities, conditions of participation and the principles of the preparation and implementation of projects. The total will be held 10 sessions.

16. June 2016. – Final get-together at a large Conference on EU funds.

Can I participate in the program, all persons under 30 years of age that preparation of a motivational letter will explain why they want to participate and how they mentor can help and send it to the e-mail address kristina@zaokret.com at the latest by 10. January 2016.

The jury Kristina Ercegović, Ariana Vela (EU PROJECTS, crafts for business consulting and other services) and John M (Women in Adria) will carry out the selection of a candidate who will/or information of receipt in the program receive no later than 11. January 2016.

Each participant/a/ca gets to present the book “I’m my own boss” by Kristine Ercegović, accompanied by personal consecration.

Who are the mentorice of the program?

Kristina Ercegovic – serial entrepreneurs, mentors on multiple start-up competition and in the TV show, author of the book, I’m my own boss, the owner of the company’s Turnaround and the author of the regional project of networking small business owners and those who want it to be – to the Cafe Business. Ariana Vela, from the company’s EU PROJECTS – one of the leading Croatian project consultant for EU funds, strategic planning, preparation and implementation of projects. Has a 12-year experience of working on projects funded from EU funds. In his career he worked with the representatives of the public, business and the civil society sector, and specializes in the preparation and implementation of projects from the structural funds, pre-accession funds and programmes of the Union. Regularly publishes columns for T-portal, and is a regular TrailBlazer and conceptual founder of the first Croatian portal on EU funds, EU PROJECTS INFO.  So far, educate more than 8000 participants from different sectors. She founded the first Croatian Academy of EU funds under the name University of the EU projects-institutions for adult education (www.uep.hr) that began operations in 2015. year.
