Aided by a deflatornim tendencies of movement, real growth in net earnings from February continuously moving at rates higher than 3% at the annual level, while at the same time real growth in gross earnings significantly lower, in August, exactly half. In such circumstances, the average monthly net wage per employee in legal entities paid for August this year stood at 5712 kuna, which is 4 Kuna or 0.1% nominally less than in the same month the foregoing 196 kuna or 3.6% more than in that month last year. At the same time average gross salary amounted to 8058 kuna, which is 11 kuna or 0.1% less than in July, and 120 kuna or 1.5% more than in August last year.
In light of the fact that the continuity of the real net earnings growth at the annual level extends from December last year, and gross earnings since June of last year, that they are and the cumulative data on the movement of wages in the first eight months of this year marked by growth compared with the same period last year. So is the average monthly net salary per employee in the first eight months of this year amounted to 5693 Kuna, which is 183 swears or 3.3% more than in the period last year. At the same time average gross salary amounted to 8037 kuna, which is 94 the Kuna or 1.2% more than in the first eight months of last year. In the specified period, the highest average net wages have risen in remediation activities and other waste management activities (13.0%), the removal of waste water (12.8%), real estate operations (9.7%), an auxiliary service activities in mining (9.7%), other manufacturing (8.7%), activities of employment (7.8%) and manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (7.2%). At the same time, average net wages reduced in the manufacture of tobacco products (3.1%), Office administrative and auxiliary activities, and other business activities (extra for 3.0%), production of films, video and television programme activities, audio recording and issuing recordings of music (0.9%), broadcasting (0.8%), activities of the food and drinks (for 0.4%) and waste collection, treatment and disposal activities; the materials recovery facility (for 0.3%).
Compared to similar countries, and in August the Croatia (1067 euros) and Slovenia (1524 euros) average monthly gross salary values higher than one thousand euros. The border of the average gross earnings of a thousand euros is close to Poland (960 euros), while the gross salary in August in Hungary amounted to euros, 776 in Montenegro euro 720, in Bosnia and Herzegovina 656 euros, and in Serbia 512 euros.
